Out now: New book 'Researching Animal Research'

Pru Hobson-West, Professor of Science, Medicine and Society and Director of Institute for Science and Society has recently published a book with colleagues from the Universities of Exeter, Oxford, Manchester and Southampton. Published by Manchester University Press, the book is entitled ‘Researching animal research: What the humanities and social sciences can contribute to laboratory animal science and welfare’. The book is the result of 6 years of work, funded by the Wellcome Trust, and is freely available online.
