Location

Date(s)
Wednesday 6th November 2019 (16:00-18:00)
Description

The Review Panel plays an important role in Bangladesh towards ensuring compliance with relevant public procurement rules by government bodies and providing remedies to aggrieved suppliers.  It is one of the forums where a government supplier can bring a challenge relating to the violation of applicable rules.

The seminar will provide a discussion on its various features and share some of the presenter’s findings regarding the position of the forum within the overall supplier review system and the reality of the existing Bangladeshi practice.

Finally, the seminar will raise for discussion the question of whether the rules, as they are practised in Bangladesh, truly reflect the promises that they make on paper.
