SCELR first edition
Nottingham graduates recently led the publication of the first Student Comparative and European Law Review (SCELR).
A joint initiative of the European Law Students’ Association (ELSA) in the UK and Ireland, SCELR features high-quality articles written by students and case notes on comparative and European law.
The first edition was developed by alumna Jessica Allen, Editor in Chief, and alumnus Sam Hussaini, Senior Editor, in collaboration with Kaleb Honer of ELSA Ireland.
Jessica graduated with a BA Law with French and French Law degree in September, serving as President of ELSA Nottingham during her time at the University. She was also Vice President for Academic Activities for ELSA UK, helping to launch their Amicus Essay Prize and serving as Editor of ELSA Law Review.
Sam graduated with a LLB Law with New Zealand Law degree, also serving on the Editorial Board of the ELSA Law Review.
They were joined on the SCELR editorial board by three other Nottingham alumni: Iphigenia Fisentzou, LLB Law; Charis Harvey, BA Law with French and French Law; and Megan Jameson, LLB Law with European Law.
