An evening with Lord Hughes

On Thursday 8 February, the Nottingham Bar Society welcomed Lord Hughes to the University for an insightful talk on his career, his most memorable cases at the bench and his advice on how to succeed at the Bar.

After the talk, students had the opportunity to speak to Lord Hughes in a more informal setting over drinks and canapes. Overall, the event was a great success and an invaluable opportunity for students to speak to one of the most senior members of the judiciary.
