Dr Klara Polackova Van der Ploeg speaks on decision-making processes of the International Court of Justice

On 5 October 2019, Dr Klara Polackova Van der Ploeg presented at the 12th Czecho-Slovak International Legal Symposium in Kromeriz, Czech Republic. In her presentation, she spoke on the dynamics of decision-making in the International Court of Justice (ICJ), particularly focusing on the role of the ICJ president and consequent shifts in the ICJ's judicial policy. 

The symposium, which explored the topic of peaceful settlement of disputes, was attended by academics, Czech and Slovak Foreign Offices' legal advisers, and practitioners.
