Professor Paul Roberts contributes to international procedural law conference in Medellin, Colombia

Professor Paul Roberts was one of over 25 invited presenters, drawn from 12, mainly Latin American countries, contributing to the 12th International Conference on Procedural Law (XII Congreso Internacional de Derecho Procesal) hosted by the University of Medellin, Colombia, 29-31 August 2019. The theme of the conference was “Evidence: Theory and Practice” (La Prueba: Teoria y Practica).

Professor Roberts’ paper was titled “Five Foundational Fallacies of Common Law Evidence, in Comparative Perspective”, a version of which has been translated into Spanish (by Orión Vargas and Carlos Ivan Ruiz) and appears in the published conference proceedings as “Cinco falacias fundacionales de la preuba en el common law”, in Agudelo Mejia et el (eds), La prueba: teoria y practica (Universidad de Medellin, 2019), 229-279.
