The school is delighted to announce that Dr Chloe Holloway has been awarded the ESRC Future Promise award as part of the ESRC Celebrating Impact Prize. Dr Holloway was also runner up for the Outstanding Early Career Impact Prize.
Dr Holloway was selected by the Panel for the Future Promise award in recognition of the potential impact her research into the experiences of autistic individuals in police custody may have in future, as well as her achievements in delivering impact in the early stages of her research career. As winner of the prize, Dr Holloway will receive £2,500 to spend on further knowledge exchange, public engagement or other impact related activities.
Dr Holloway commented that, "I was incredibly surprised to be selected for the award – it was completely unexpected. It is a great honour to receive this recognition for my work by the ESRC and I am excited to have received further funds to help realise the potential impacts associated with the research. I am thankful for the support of my supervisors, the ESRC, the Nottinghamshire Autism Police Partnership and Nottinghamshire police in making this research possible.”
