Professor Dirk van Zyl Smit to give Roger Hood Annual Lecture

Professor Dirk van Zyl Smit is giving Roger Hood Annual Lecture on Thursday 4 June 2020 at 5pm.

The topic is "The People Strike Back: Life Imprisonment and other ultimate penalties in a constitutional democracy".

This lecture, normally held at the University of Oxford, is open to the public. It will be presented as a webinar.
