PhD Viva success for Cerys Gibson

We are pleased to announce that Cerys passed her PhD viva voce examination today.

Her thesis, entitled "Conditional Cautioning in England & Wales: A Socio-legal Analysis of Policy and Practice," was supervised by John Jackson (Professor of Comparative Criminal Law and Procedure, University of Nottingham) and Dr Candida Saunders (Assistant Professor in Law, University of Nottingham).

 The examiners were Bill Dixon (Professor of Criminology, University of Nottingham) and Jenny Fleming (Professor of Criminology within Sociology, Social Policy and Criminology at the University of Southampton).  Dino Kritsiotis (Professor of Public International Law, University of Nottingham) served as the chair of the examination.

 We offer our heartfelt congratulations to Cerys on this outstanding achievement.
