PhD Viva success for Harriette Alcock

The School of Law is delighted to announce that Harriette Alcock passed her PhD viva voce examination on Friday (26th February).

 Her thesis, entitled “The Role of Intellectual Property Protection in the Development of Underutilised Crops”, was supervised by Dr Justin Jutte and Paul Torremans (Professor of Intellectual Property Law, University of Nottingham).

The examiners were Estelle Derclaye (Professor of Intellectual Property Law, University of Nottingham) and Abbe Brown (Professor of Intellectual Property, University of Aberdeen).  Howard Bennett (Hind Professor of Commercial Law, University of Nottingham) served as the chair of the examination.
