One of our undergraduate LLB students, Anjolaoluwa Alabi, has been awarded an Exhibition Scholarship as well as a Duke of Edinburgh Entrance Award by The Honourable Society of the Inner Temple. This prestigious award is highly competitive and we are extremely proud of Anjola.
"This subsidises the Bar Course that I will be undertaking in the next academic year and is of course fantastic reassurance from a panel of Barristers of my potential of a career at the bar. I chose to study law due to its multidisciplinary range; it affects politics, commerce, religion and more. I chose Nottingham because my cousin and dad had studied here, so it came highly recommended! After completing my degree, I hope to study the BVS at City law school with the hope of thereafter securing Pupillage at a set of Chambers in the capital. I am very thankful to two of my tutors in the school of law at Nottingham, Stephen Bailey and Dino Kritsiotis, who stood as referees for my scholarship application!"
We wish them all the best in their future as they embark on this exciting new chapter of their life and career.
