Professor Paul Roberts delivers plenary lecture at interdisciplinary forensics conference in Sweden

Professor Paul Roberts was one of five invited plenary lecturers at the triennial International Conference on Forensic Inference and Statistics (ICFIS) in Lund, Sweden which was jointly hosted by the National Forensic Centre of the Swedish Police and the Law Faculty of Lund University over four days last week. Addressing an audience primarily comprising forensic scientists and statisticians, Professor Roberts discussed recent England and Wales Court of Appeal jurisprudence that has grappled with assessing the probative value of DNA profiling evidence.
