The School of Law finished among the top 10 law schools in England and Wales. The QS Rankings are based on a different methodology from other global rankings (such as the Times Higher World University Rankings for Law in which the School was placed sixth on the same measure). The criteria for the QS Rankings include: Academic Reputation, Employer Reputation and H-Index (which is a measure of the productivity and impact of an academic or department).
Professor Jeremy Gregory, Faculty Pro-Vice Chancellor for Social Sciences said: ‘I am delighted with the School of Law’s success in the QS World University Subject Rankings. This well-deserved result is testimony to the School’s excellent global reputation.’The latest rankings can be found here.
