Viva success - Muath Alqarni

We are pleased to announce that Muath Alqarni passed his PhD viva voce examination today (Tuesday 12 March 2024).

Muath's thesis ‘Protection Standards against Unfair Dismissal in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia' was supervised by Jeff Kenner (Professor of European Law, University of Nottingham) and Dr Reza Beheshti (Assistant Professor in International Commercial Law, University of Nottingham).   

The examiners were Pascale Lorber (Associate Professor, University of Leicester) and Dr Ahmad Ghouri (Senior Lecturer in Commercial Law, University of Sussex).  Sangeeta Shah (Professor of International Law and Human Rights, University of Nottingham) served as the chair of the examination.
