LFP Analysis Suite Version 1.0

This readme file is intended to instruct users how to download and begin 
using
the software.

Insallation instructions:
1: Download and the 'LFP Analysis Suite' from the nottingham neuronal 
networks
website.

2: Unzip all the files to a single folder titled something like 'LFP 
analysis suite'
or whatever takes your fancy. It is suggested that for ease you place this 
somewhere
easy to find and memorable. Such as your Matlab 'work' folder or within 'My 
Documents'.

3: Next, within Matlab change the working directory to:

	'C:\Program Files\MATLAB\R2006a\work\LFP analysis suite'

If you followed our suggestion or simply the path to the folder where you 
unzipped the
downloaded files such as:

	'C:\Documents and Settings\Any Authorised User\My Documents\LFP analysis 
suite'

4: Type 'Front_Panel' in the Matlab Command Window.

5: The Front_Panel window should load up where the Help menu contains a 
quickstart guide.



Loading in Data...

6: To load in a dataset click open within the Matlab file menu (not the LFP 
analysis
suite's menus).

7. Browse for the <filename>.mat dataset you wish to load, select it and 
click 'Open'

8. The data should now be within the Matlab 'Workspace'

9. Select 'Refresh Variables' from the 'File' menu within the Front Panel 
(Or the
'Event_triggered' window) of the LFP Analysis Suite; or press Ctrl+R whilst 
one of these
windows is selected.

10. The data should now be viewable within the LFP analysis suite
