The annual conference of the Association for Learning Technology (ALT) was held on the main campus in the East Midlands Conference Centre. The conference website has details of paper/poster submissions and keynote speeches.
21 November 2006, Jubilee campus
One of a series of "hands-on, engaging and practical workshops focused on real-world learning designs", run by the Sharing the LOAD project, part of the JISC Design for Learning Programme, was held at the University of Nottingham in November 2006.
ELSIE is a 12-month project (from Oct 2004) funded by the Subject Centre for Health Sciences & Practice to create reusable learning objects (RLOs) to support interprofessional health education. Project partners are UCeL (of which the University of Nottingham is a member), University of Cambridge and Homerton School of Health Studies.
An ELSIE workshop was held at QMC on Thursday 18th November 2005, A Floor Classroom, 09:30-15:45 to which all colleagues were invited.

A School conference was held on 1st July, 2003, at the Queen's Medical Centre in Nottingham. The conference theme was "New Technologies and E-learning", with some 130 attendees and presenters from within and without Nottingham.
