Get SONET news delivered to your desktop

You can now get SONET news headlines delivered directly to your desktop via the magic of RSS. A RSS Newsfeed has been set up on this site to enable users familiar with newsfeeds (sometimes also known as Site Syndication) to have SONET news items delivered directly to their desktops via their RSS newsreaders. Look for the icon on the site home page, and the main News page.

For those unfamiliar with the concept of RSS, see the RSS FAQ on this site. Site syndication is rapidly becoming a popular means of 'broadcasting' site news items both for site administrators, who no longer have to either manage large email lists of people wishing to be notified about news on the site, and for users, who no longer have to visit sites regularly or join yet another email list to keep up to date with site news. Do try downloading and using one of the many free RSS newsreaders, not just to get SONET news but to see news from a wide range of other sources, such as the BBC, daily newspapers, e-learning websites, and much, much more.
