Physical activity - Medicine of the Future
Physical activity is one of the most effective medicines for the prevention and management of many non-communicable diseases including cardio-vascular disease, diabetes, cancers, chronic pain, and mental health. Did you know that physical activity reduces the chance of acquiring infections, like COVID-19, and improves chance of recovery? However, physical inactivity is a huge global problem and relates to unnecessarily high morbidity and mortality rates.
