Subject: bST and its effect in superovulation of sheep

Hello Rashid,

The best information on ultrasonographic scanning of sheep ovaries would be
available from either Dr. Gregg Adams of the Western College of Veterinary Medicine
at the University of Saskatchewan, Saskatoon, SK Canada or Dr. Norman Rawlings and
his graduate student, Pawel Bartlewski of the Department of Veterinary Physiology.
They have been working with follicle kinetics in sheep for several years and have
almost all of the bugs worked out of the system.

The e-mail address for Dr. Adams is Adams@Sask.Usask.CA
for Dr. Rawlings Rawlings@Sask.Usask.CA

The animals are done in a standing position and without much handling or stress.
This is quite different from groups flipping the animals upside down and using
pharmacologics.

I hope that this is helpful. Best of luck in your studies.

Amities,

Roger Pierson
