Building Your Network from Scratch

Professor Rachel Elliott, Lord Trent Professor of  Medicines and Health, will give a workshop entitled 'Building Your Network from Scratch'.

This workshop is one in series of activities held by the School for celebrating International Women’s Day 2015, and will be run as an interactive action set that leads you to develop strategies in gaining support and building your own professional network. Issues around awareness of career progression requirements in your own disciplines, peer mentoring, interactive working group, barriers and opportunities to networking will be covered.

All postgraduate students, postdoctoral researchers and early-career academics are welcome!
