The School of Pharmacy has again achieved league table success, this time being ranked as the top English School of Pharmacy in the Guardian University Guide 2009, designed to help students looking to start University in 2009. The guide highlights the excellent career prospects of Nottingham School of Pharmacy graduates. Nottingham – alongside Cambridge and Manchester – was also rated top choice by leading companies recruiting UK graduates in a recent independent survey for The Times newspaper.
Our position in the Guardian table, which looks at universities' teaching of both Pharmacy and Pharmacology, reflects the high quality teaching on our MPharm courses in Nottingham and at our campus in Malaysia. We've made significant investment in new and innovative teaching resources, culminating in our new Teaching Pharmacy recently opened by the President of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society. We also have a unique study abroad programme which enables students to study at our Malaysia Campus without taking time out from their degree.
