New UNESCO university twinning network for pharmacists launched

The school of Pharmacy are part of the new UNESCO UNITWIN network for Global Pharmacy Education Development,  the first in the field of higher education for health professionals. Professor Claire Anderson from the school is lead for academic and institutional  capacity in the Pharmacy Education Taskforce. The UNITWIN G-PhEd Network will act as a new mechanism for the work of the FIP Pharmacy Education Taskforce, which has been dedicated to developing tools and resources to help tackle challenges of academic capacity, quality assurance of educational systems and workforce competency in both high-resource and low-resource pharmacy education institutions.
