Dr Michael Stocks has been invited to participate and present at the EU-China Business &Technology Cooperation Fair to be held in Chengdu on September 23rd to 25th. The event is sponsored by the EU Project Innovation Centre (Chengdu) and the Enterprise Europe Network – West China. The event will host EU companies, government bodies, Universities and research institutions and their Chinese counterparts.
Dr Stocks will present a talk entitled “Designing an Effective Compound Collection for Screening” highlighting his work and expertise from his previous roles within AstraZeneca where he was a leader of various projects designing high-quality compound libraries for screening in biological systems.
Dr Michael Stocks has also accepted an invitation to become a member of the Scientific Advisory Board of HitGen – A new Chinese bio-pharmaceutical organisation with a focus on hit identification and lead generation based in the Tianfu Life Science Park of the Chengdu Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone.
