To Our Undergraduates and Postgraduates:
This year we were surprised, delighted ( and very proud) to receive an Oscar for the Best School in the University 2013 from the Students Union. This was a result of receiving more nominations from our students than any other. Some of our academic, admin, and technical staff attended a gala presentation on Thursday, where Kevin Shakesheff received the Oscar. Kevin has asked me to write this letter of thanks on behalf of all staff in the School.
To be voted as the best School in the University is something very special. As it is an award that comes entirely from you, our student body, it means a great deal personally to all of us ….and this includes all those who teach you in Pharmacy and Biomedical Sciences, and all the administration, technical and support staff in the school.
A huge thanks, from all of us, for this tremendous accolade.
