Joy Wingfield receives a Royal Pharmaceutical Society Award

Prof Joy Wingfield is one of our School's special appointments, having previously worked for us on secondment from Boots (http://nottingham.ac.uk/pharmacy/people/honoraryappointments.aspx and http://www.nottingham.ac.uk/pharmacy/people/joy.wingfield).

She has recently been awarded the Royal Pharmaceutical Society Charter medal which is one of (if not the highest) award the Pharmacy professional body can award. Details can be found here http://www.rpharms.com/awards/charter-award.asp.

Professor Claire Anderson, who is on the RPS national assembly and English Pharmacy Board says:

"Joy Wingfield is a very worthy recipient of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society Charter Award, It recognises her outstanding service in promoting the interests of pharmacy over her career. Joy’s contribution throughout her career has been exceptional and particularly during her time at Nottingham she has contributed greatly to the development of education in pharmacy law and ethics throughout the UK."
