Professor Claire Anderson is a leading author in a new report on global education. The report is the 2013 FIPEd Global Education Report.

Our Professor of Social Pharmacy, Claire Anderson, was the leading author in part 4 of this report, entitled ‘Education Trends, Innovation and Transformations – Case Studies’

In the Introduction she begins:

Opinion leaders and governments in developed countries are calling for pharmacy education to take the lead in medicines optimisation and public health, to build accountability for medication therapy outcomes, and to develop curricula to prepare pharmacy students for specialised areas such as personalised medicine, independent prescribing, and teambased patient care.
