Nottingham scientists developing holographic tweezers to shape human tissue

Scientists in the Faculty of Science have won a £250,000 grant from the Department of Business, Innovation and Science to look at the effect of light on biological processes.

The university's tissue engineering group will look at ways it can improve processes to promote repair to damaged tissues and organs.
