Dr Frankie Rawson won a poster prize at the 1st Asilomar Bioelectronics Symposium (Sept 4-8th), Pacific Grove, California, USA and was subsequently selected to give a talk at this meeting summarising the Bioelectronics-themed research being performed in the Rawson group. The talk was entitled "Cellular electron transfer: New directions in controlling cellular electronic talk". The meeting was well attended and it set the scene for exciting developments in the field of bioelectronics in the future and the ability of bioelectronics to control cell, tissue and organ function.
