Research, development and evaluation strategies for pharmaceutical education and workforce: A global report
A press release by the International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP) describes how a global report was launched on 12 Seotember 2017 in Seoul at the World Congress of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. The press release is entitled 'New data depict state of progress in pharmacy workforce development'.
The new publication, which is entitled 'Research, development and evaluation strategies for pharmaceutical education and workforce: A global report' was written by Lina Bader, a recent PhD graduate from The Pharmacy School, who also did her MPharm here at Nottingham, and also by Ian Bates, the Director of the FIPEd Development Team. The chapter on academic capacity was also written by Professor Claire Anderson.

“This publication is a starting point for a global discussion on how to achieve progress on workforce development goals through evidence, evaluation and progressive policy planning.
FIP encourages global leaders in professional education research, in addition to leadership bodies and universities, to contribute to the process of identifying a global agenda for workforce development,” said Professor Ian Bates, FIP Education development team director.
