Lewis completed a master's degree in Chemistry at the University of Oxford, with his research year in the development of tetramate derived antibiotics synthesised via Dieckmann cyclisation. He joined Nottingham in 2020 as part of the CDT in Transformative Pharmaceutical Technologies, and completed his PhD under Prof. Cameron Alexander, working on the development of novel polycations via multicomponent reactions, targetting applications in gene delivery. Lewis is currently working in a post-doctoral research role on the development of supramolecular assemblies for RNA therapeutics with Professors Cameron Alexander and Snow Stolnik.
