Biography
Anna obtained a 5,5-year Master of Pharmacy diploma from Wroclaw Medical University (2011-2017). In her thesis she focused on synthesis and evaluation of thermosensitive microspheres for topical delivery of naproxen.
She spent 6 months working in the National Centre of Excellence in Mass Spectrometry Imaging (NiCE-MSI) group in National Physical Laboratory (NPL), Teddington.
In September 2017 Anna joined Centre for Doctoral Training in Advanced Therapeutics and Nanomedicines and in November 2021 she defended her PhD titled "Enabling in situ protein analysis for pharmaceutical applications using 3D OrbiSIMS", supervised by David Scurr, Jon Aylott and Alex Shard.
Between 2021 -2022 Anna undertook EPSRC Doctoral Prize in the Optics and Photonics group at the University of Nottingham under supervision of Prof Amanda Wright.
From July 2022 Anna has been a research fellow in the School of Pharmacy, specialising in surface chemical analysis.
