Biography

I completed my Master's degree in Medicinal Chemistry at Faculty of Pharmacy, Assiut University. The work lies on the In Silico design and synthesis of small molecules as inhibitors of cell cycle checkpoints (as CDK2) with anticancer activities. In 2022, I started my PhD in Biomolecular Sciences and Medicinal Chemistry, School of Pharmacy, University of Nottingham.

Expertise Summary

My expertise includes In Silico drug design, synthetic chemistry, and biophysical and biochemical techniques.

Research Summary

Current research include:

  • Design of small compounds as inhibitor proteases in the ubiquitin pathway
  • Chemical synthesis of small molecules
  • Establishing protein structure and characterizing protein-ligand interactions
