Bio: Dr Siddharth Kara is part of the Rights Lab's Measurement and Geographies Programme and is a British Academy Global Professor. He was one of only 10 academics globally to receive the prestigious BA Global Professorship in 2020. During 22 years of field research, he has travelled to more than 50 countries to document the cases of thousands of enslaved people and child labourers. 

Siddharth advises several UN agencies and numerous governments on anti-slavery policy and law.
