Bio: Professor Sarah Metcalfe has done a great deal of research climate change and the environment, including lake sediment records of climate change in Mexico, Belize, Colombia and Jordan and Agricultural systems, climate adaptation and traditional knowledge in the same regions. 

Within the University, Sarah is member of the Water Research Management Board and is also a meember of the Royal Geographical Society Medals and Awards sub-committee.
