The Research Centre for the Study of Parties and Democracy (REPRESENT) invites you to their next research seminar of the year!
In this research seminar, we'll hear from Bann-Seng Tan (Ashoka University) about their recent book, International Aid and Democracy Promotion: Liberalization at the Margins, which studies state to state bargaining to advance democracy with foreign aid. The book also focusses on the impact of democratisation in context of rivalry as the way to test for the effects of the democratic peace.
Moderator: Fernando Casal Bertoa (University of Nottingham)
All are welcome.
This seminar will be held over Microsoft Teams, and a link will be sent to registrants before the event. Please register your attendance.
