Understanding the relationship between forced marriage and modern slavery

Dr Helen McCabe is undertaking a two year project funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council after securing an Early Careers Leadership Fellowship.

The third such fellowship for a School of Politics and International Relations' academic in five years, Helen will explore why certain types of marriage should be seen as forms of modern slavery.
