Book symposium organised by Hugo Drochon

In June 2020 CONCEPT (now known as CRISPI) organised an online workshop on Nadia Urbinati (Columbia University)’s book on populism Me the people.

The workshop was organised to celebrate and deepen Urbinati’s work, and to bring together two shining lights of the rising generation of populism studies – Léonie de Jonge, from a comparativist perspective, and Anton Jäger from an historical-discursive one – with the leading scholar of violence Stathis Kalyvas, interested in formulating his own viewpoint on the topic, alongside Urbinati herself.

Following on from this CRISPI o-director Hugo Drochon has organised a book symposium.
