Viva Success for Tobias Ross

Congratulations to School of Politics & International Relations doctoral researcher Tobias Ross on passing his viva, subject to minor revisions.

Tobias’ thesis - ’State-Business Relations in Contemporary China: The Case of the “Chinese Football Dream” Reforms’ - examines exchanges among state and private business actors using the case of China’s football industry. His study has used a data set from primary data from practitioners in the industry as well as secondary data.

His thesis was examined by Dr Chun-yi Lee (University of Nottingham) and Dr Simon Chadwick (Skema Business School Paris).
