We are delighted to announce that School of Politics and International Relations doctoral researcher Jason Cooley has recently passed his PhD viva.
Jason's thesis 'An Evaluation of America's Security Transfers during the Cold War' conducts a critical appraisal of American security transfers in South Korea and South Vietnam. It uses success and failure mechanisms to offer compelling new explanations of the outcomes which emerged in these countries, and provides new insights for policymakers in the field of military operations.
His thesis was examined by Professor David Gill and Professor Jeremy Pressman (University of Connecticut).
Congratulations Jason!
