Doctoral Researcher,
Nawsher is Doctoral Researcher at the School of Politics and International Relations. The topic of his Doctoral Research is "Political Economy of Development Finance from the Emerging Donors: A Study on the Development Finance Mobilized to the Infrastructure Projects of Bangladesh". His Research seeks to explore to what extent the development finance received from the emerging donors (particularly from China and India) are conducive to the sustainable development of Bangladesh.
Before starting his PhD, Nawsher was working in the Economic Relations Division, Ministry of Finance of the Government of Bangladesh as a Senior Assistant Chief where his core responsibility was to accomplish all the procedures regarding the mobilization of external resources for implementing the public sector projects. Moreover, he had to review the terms and conditions of the financing agreements, participate in the negotiations with development partners and disseminate policy ideas to the stakeholders for undertaking projects and programs.
