Doctoral Researcher,
Selim holds a BA in History from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and an MA in international politics and economics from the Johns Hopkins University School of Advances International Studies (SAIS). He has also studied for a year at Boğaziçi University in Istanbul.
In 20102-2011, he worked and interned at the Turkish daily newspaper Sabah, as well as Al Jazeera's Arabic and English language bureaus in Washington DC. In 2011, Selim began working for the Economic Policy Research Foundation of Turkey (TEPAV,) where he currently works as an analyst focusing on Turkish politics and foreign policy. He is also a writing fellow with the US-based Foreign Policy Research Institute (FPRI).
Selim Koru studies the intersection of political ideas and public policy.
