As part of the Government’s consultation process on the reform of UK public procurement law in the context of its December 2020 Green Paper, a round table was held online on 2 February 2021 co-hosted by the Cabinet Office and the Public Procurement Research Group of the School of Law.
The round table, attended by invited practitioners, lawyers and academics, focused in detail on some of the thornier problems of remedies reform, such as how a new automatic suspension test might be formulated and how the system can structured to avoid incentives to inappropriate settlements.
