Dr Aris Georgopoulos Invited Speaker at the Global Industrial Cooperation Association Conference

Dr Georgopoulos was invited speaker at the Global Industrial Cooperation Association’s (GICA) Spring Conference. The GICA Conference is the largest gathering in the world of companies and government entities active in the area of security and defence industrial cooperation. Dr Georgopoulos, presented his research on the future of defence and security industrial cooperation in Europe post Brexit and in the context of the emerging EU initiatives such as the creation of the European Defence Fund (EDF). He also shared his experience from advising the Dutch authorities in the successful resolution of the dispute with the European Commission in the infringement proceedings initiated by the latter against the Netherlands.
