On 19 September, Professor Luke Butler gave a guest seminar by kind invitation on the University of Adelaide’s Defence Contracting Law Course. The course is the only one of its kind in Australia and is run by Dr. Colette Langos, member of the Research Unit on Military Law and Ethics (RUMLAE).
Luke provided a critical introduction to UK defence procurement regulation, which is currently undergoing unprecedented regulatory reform. This engagement provided an ideal opportunity to discuss defence procurement from a comparative perspective. It forms part of a wider programme of teaching and research activities currently underway in furtherance of the University of Nottingham-Adelaide Alliance.
