This weeks paper is titled 'Visual perception in dyslexia is limited by sub-optical scale selection' and is by Prof. Tim Ledgeway
The paper shows that relatively poor (adult) readers, including those with dyslexia, experience difficulty on visual segmentation tasks containing movement cues and propose a novel computational model, in which individuals are insensitive to the spatial scale of the information presented on each trial, to explain this pattern of performance.
