This week's paper is by Dr Jon Peirce, David Bridges, Alain Pitiot and Michael MacAskill. This paper measures the timing that is possible in a wide range of common experimental psychology software (PsychoPy, E-Prime, Presentation etc) in lab-based studies and the web. It also discusses various common sources of timing error and the need to test timing yourself if it really matters for your study.
