As the Chair of Translational Imaging Group Thomas' work aims to develop novel magnetic resonance imaging techniques in the micro-imaging laboratory and ‘translate’ these concepts to the pre-clinical setting. His research is at the interface between chemistry, physics, material science and the biomedical sciences, compelling the group to take a truly multi-dispensary approach to research.
