Biography
Denis Sexton is a Phd Researcher in the Advanced Manufacturing Technology Research Group (Manufacturing Metrology Team) and Midlands Centre for Data-Driven Metrology of the University of Nottingham. Denis is a chartered mechanical engineer with extensive international experience and achievement working with academia, industry (defense, automotive, aerospace and energy), and on publicly funded projects. His expertise includes World Class Manufacturing, Process Development, Product Validation, Quality Assurance, Metrology and Technical Project Management via DMAIC-Six Sigma® strategies. Denis holds a Graduate Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Expertise Summary
Designed and developed a major Postgraduate Program in Metrology and Quality for Swinburne University in Melbourne Australia, including Developing the Body of knowledge, Setting and grading exams, and mentoring the students on the Program. This resulted in the Australian National Metrology Award.
Managed the academic and commercial interface between Swinburne University and students.
