Biography

I pursued PhD in Mechanical Engineering Department with a specialization in Manufacturing Science. An enthusiastic researcher passionate about innovation, especially in welding/bonding, battery-pack modelling, AI/ML in manufacturing, laser-assisted MMC machining, sensors-integrated machining tools, graphene-based anodes, molecular dynamic simulation and additive manufacturing. I am currently working on laser-assisted machining of hard-to-machining materials (MMCs) and machinability of fully sensor-integrated tools and their life prediction at Rolles Royce UTC, University of Nottingham. In my doctoral research, I worked on Solid-state welding/bonding of electronic components (Al-Cu tab and busbar) and experimental modelling/simulation of Li-ion batteries in the Friction Stir Welding laboratory of IIT Kharagpur.
