PhD student in Architecture,
Ye Xu is currently a PhD student in architecture at the Department of Architecture and Built Environment, University of Nottingham, under the supervision of professor Jonathan Hale and Dr. Katharina Borsi. She graduated from Peking University with a master degree of science in geography (urban and regional planning) in 2017. She worked as the research manager and architect at Atelier Z+ in Shanghai from 2017 to 2019. Her research interests include: urban dwelling in China, urban geography, etc.
PhD research project: Micro-individual living space in contemporary Chinese metropolises, Shanghai as an example.
